How do I prepare for my spray tan?

Come freshly showered if possible, with no lotion or oil on your skin. This will create a barrier and the tanning solution will not adhere to the skin as well. If you shave, do so the day before your appointment. If you shave after the tan is applied, it will come off with the razor.

How long does the tan last?

Tan will last usually 7-10 days. Applying lotion daily and keeping it hydrated after day 1 with help the tan last longer.

What do I wear?

Wear light, loose fitting clothing to your appointment or bring some to at least go home in if you’re coming from work. A Maxi dress or bathing suit coverup is ideal. NO Yoga pants, sports bras, or athletic wear. Nothing that is tight to the skin.

While your tan is applied, you can wear anything you are comfortable with. An old bra and/or underwear. Dark colored swimsuit or bikini. I recommend you wear at least a thong or something minimal so you can see immediately how dark your tan will become with the contrast of your skin prior to the tan application. If you really hate tan lines you can go nude.

How long until I can shower after the tan is applied?

Please refrain from showering or getting wet for at least 8 hours after application. No exercise or sweating either.

What happens if it gets on my clothes?

The solution easily washes out of clothing and bed sheets.
